The Division of Public Affairs, under the Department of Administration, is the media’s principal point of contact for the Camden County Board of Freeholders.

The division is responsible for ensuring that the public is informed about the programs and services provided by Camden County government, and about the priorities and actions of the Freeholder Board.  The office advises the Freeholder Board, and county departments, on all aspects of media relations and communications issues.  The office also coordinates with the public affairs units of the county-related agencies.

The Division of Public Affairs prepares and issues news releases, responds to reporter inquiries, issues statements, arranges interviews, conducts news conferences, provides web updates on county news and information on camden county.com and in the form of email blasts and updates.  The office ensures that information provided to the news media and the public by the county is current, complete and accurate.  Follow us on Twitter and sign up as a fan of our Facebook page for the latest county news and information.
