Responding Apparatus
Fire Station 3 in Cherry Hill NJ houses two first-responding vehicles in SQ1331 and Ambulance 1393, and two specialized rescue units. SQ1331 is a 54 foot articulating squrt used for front line fire suppression and other basic life support duties as required within Station 3's first-due response local and other surrounding areas.
The ambulance, one of three 24-hour service ambulances in the town, responds to all emergency medical incidents with two of our fully-trained EMTs and/or Paramedics.
The Technical Support Unit and Rescue 1335 carry an array of equipment designed for all types of rescues, be them motor vehicle accidents, building collapse, trench or confined-space rescue, among others. Firefighters who work in this station specify their training to ensure they are proficient with all the additional equipment and ready for any type of rescue scenario that may come their way.
