Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. was opened in 1961 by Frank E. Matinchek. Frank, who is still involved in the day to day operations of the funeral home

Frank’s grandson, Zachary Matinchek, is continuing the tradition. Zachary, who also graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, became a licensed funeral director in 2012. Under his grandfather’s tutelage, he took over the reins of the business in 2014.

Matinchek Funeral Home is proud to serve Middletown and its surrounding communities with the same care and empathy they would expect for their own families. A tradition of caring, respectful, and honest funeral directing was started in 1961 and will continue for many years to come.
