Elizabethown Borough, PA has adopted an ordinance for administration and enforcement of the Uniform Construction Code (UCC) to ensure compliance with construction, alteration, repair, movement, equipment, removal, demolition, location, maintenance, occupancy or change of occupancy for buildings and structures which occurred in Elizabethtown after April 9, 2004, and all existing structures not legally occupied. Residents wishing to appeal or request variances/extensions for compliance with UCC regulations may apply for relief to the Donegal-Elizabethtown Area Appeals Board.
