The Elizabethtown Borough's Streets Department works diligently year-round to keep the roads, alleys, and bridges in Elizabethtown, PA in safe condition.  The Street Department personnel spends the spring and summer completing street repairs to get ready for the annual paving project in the fall.  In winter months the focus shifts to snow plowing and de-icing operations.  Other projects worked in throughout the year include street sweeping, MS4 (stormwater) compliance, maintenance of the downtown and train station, and  general upkeep of the pedestrian and bicycle pathway system.
