Established in 1987, the Pennsylvania State Office of AARP is located in downtown Harrisburg, with an additional office in Philadelphia.
Long Term Care: In Pennsylvania, AARP is working to protect long term care servicesfor seniors including home and community based services.
Social Security and Medicare: AARP is working to strengthen Social Security and Medicare for senior, near-retirees and future generations.
Utilities: AARP Pennsylvania is working to educate Pennsylvania residents age 50+ who are concerned about the rising costs of electricity in their homes and to ensure the proper consumer protections are in place.
Volunteerism: AARP has a long history of volunteerism and the important contributions AARP volunteers make to their communities, neighbors and the programs they serve. We always welcome new volunteers to serve in a variety of roles with AARP Pennsylvania.
