The North Cornwall Township Recycling Office is located in Lebanon PA. Recycling is mandatory for all North Cornwall residents. This is due to the Pennsylvania State Department of Environmental Protection's Act 101 regulation, which states that when a municipality reaches a population of 5,000 or more residents and a population density of at least 300 people per square mile, recycling becomes mandatory. North Cornwall reached these milestone figures as of the year 2000 Federal Census. Currently the official 2012 Federal Census population stands at 7,554 residents.
