The Myrtle Beach SC Recreation Division is divided into Facilities and Programs. Facilities available for public use include four indoor recreation centers, a roller rink and a skateboard park. The recreation centers feature weight rooms, meeting rooms, gymnasiums, game rooms, indoor pools, dressing rooms, arts and crafts rooms racquetball courts, a dance floor, a stage and other spaces.  Recreation programs include adult and youth sports, aquatics, youth programs, special events and special population instruction, all serving a wide range of ages and abilities. In addition, the Recreation Division operates and maintains numerous outdoor fields and Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. These are used for softball, baseball, football, soccer and special events. Outdoor basketball and tennis courts also are available for public use.
