Winter Bear Montessori School is a Montessori School serving Kingston NY and Ulster County for ages 2-6.

Winter Bear Montessori School was founded in 1981 by Ronnie Colgan (Hazzard) to create a school that reflects the cultural, ethnic and economic diversity of our community; a school that actively involves families in their children's early educational development.  Ronnie holds a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, and her Montessori credential from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education.  (CMTE)
