Newburgh Free Academy is a high school serving Newburgh NY students in the Newburgh City School District in grades 9-12.

As of September 2010 Newburgh Free Academy opened its door as a grades 9-12 high school and welcomed approximately 3,600 students in grades 9-12 within two campuses. To best meet the needs and interests of our students NFA runs by a house plan. The intent of the house plan is to provide students with the comforts of a small school learning environment and still have the benefits of what a large comprehensive high school can provide.
