The Richmond Real Estate Assessor's Office offers each citizen online access to ownership information, parcel characteristics and current sales data. Our goal is to provide accurate and timely information along with the convenience of website business forms. This office operates under the direction of Richmond City Council and is responsible for the annual reassessment of real estate, the rehabilitation program, the real estate tax exemption process and maintenance of the city's real estate database. Any suggestions for improving this website or recommendations by our citizens to better serve their needs are always welcome.

It is the mission of the Richmond Real Estate Assessor's Office to annually make equitable assessments at market value through teamwork, while encouraging citizen participation in the process; to produce an assessment roll in accordance with state statutes and to provide accurate information to the public ~ all in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.
