Village of Washingtonville Assessor
The duties of the Village of Washingtonville Assessor are to locate, identify and value property in the Town for the purpose of distributing taxes, in accordance with the Real Property Tax Law of New York State.
The Assessor also administers and process exemptions, the most common types being: Solar, Veteran, Enhanced Star (Senior over 65), Star, Clergy Business, Railroad, Agricultural Building and Forest.
